New Brighton when we visited wasn’t that great, pretty dull and well past its heyday… but we did have some excellent fish and chips :)

Fair enough! I was in Malaga a few years ago and turned out they had an exhibition of his Costa del Sol photos (think that’s one of his last projects), was pretty good!

I really like Parr’s photos and I’m from the sort of communities he likes to document! Realising I’m quite an outlier on this though :/

Eddie’s on sensitive food atm and it’s working well to keep her sickness at bay so I’m not gonna fuck that up by letting her eat anything!

Appreciate it’s well past lunchtime but I was peckish and had a bit of flatbread starting to go stale I wanted to use up XD

Made a big tub of homemade hummus at the start of the week and just been having that with some flatbread and salad for my lunch all week :)

We did! We wanted boy cats and got stuck on those names, ended up with girls but called them Eddie and Richie anyway lmao

I’ve held off on complaining to my line manager about this so far, gonna mention it next week though.

Exactly one (1) woman on the panel lol. I dunno if I was a “gender critical feminist” I like to think I’d be asking myself why so many men who are absolute dangers and have long histories of misogyny and hostility to feminists were so eager to support me.

Yeah, the comorbidities thing is very true. First time a pal suggested to me I might be some flavour of autistic, I was talking about how my kneecaps dislocate really easily (seems to be getting worse as I get older) and she told me joint problems are a common comorbidity with autism!

Appreciate there’s more awareness of symptoms or whatever, and I’ve had folk suggest I might have some form of neurodivergence myself. I don’t think I do, I’m just weird and even if I did I don’t think it matters. Don’t think there’s anything wrong with exploring it if it matters to others though!

Not that it should matter if someone can’t work but just… a large proportion of my friends, family and colleagues are neurodivergent and the majority are able to earn a living. Insinuating ppl just try to get a diagnosis so they don’t have to work is bollocks.

They pitch fits when you call them transphobic or bigoted, but…how else do you describe this attitude? It’s not “concerns” anymore, we’re a long way away from that.
