I’ve been using OneNote for a few years. Pretty basic but feels like a paper notebook for organizing and I can write in it on my iPad

Yup the OS is tough. We’ve begrudgingly accepted the Apple ecosystem. With computers I guess there’s still Linux but phones I haven’t even considered it :/

Strangely the hardest thing to replace has been maps. Tried Apple Maps but their directory isn’t as robust and hard to share locations with non Apple users

How are you finding the switch away from Google? I tried last year and realized how much of their services I use and it’s been veeery hard to cut loose.

The total number reported has increased, but I would be curious how many companies have been formed and the YoY ratio of startups that have shuttered in their first 5 years (or some fixed period of operations). These numbers don’t really tel the full story

I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. I might have missed it but don’t remember seeing SquareSpace offering a $1/month plan (at least not beyond a first year promo)

Is running your own blog an option for you? I still just use Wordpress on my own host. More flexibility and lower cost long run, though not sure if it’s well suited for shorter stories.
