There’s a typhoon in Japan right now… and it’s heading straight toward the American continent. When I saw the social media post about the flight she apparently took, I was like, “Wait—now?!” It must be shaking like crazy… I feel bad for everyone on board.

欲を言うと私が好きなのは7/2/1比率侘び寂びが利いた日本らしい落ち着いた着物かな…年相応着付けであれば直良だが、コンセプトがハッキリしている創作着付も好きだね…(英文にできる気がしない)

And instead of just a small accent, the pattern covers the whole outfit… it gives off this Yakuza-like vibe, kind of like Ryu ga Gotoku, and I really like that. lol

Even in the Japanese version of the anime, Lucifer sometimes used Yakuza-style speech, after all.

The yukata(?) pattern that Lucifer probably chose is really interesting — if you interpret it through Japanese design culture, the combination of snakes and yellow symbolizes good fortune and wealth.

I was reading a story about how a certain Lucifer and Lilith met, but there was a line where Lucifer’s guilt over falling in love with Lilith was mistranslated as “Damn it! My boss is gonna yell at me! Damn it!” and it was so funny that I completely forgot what the story was about.

There are so many mixed EN–JP otaku terms, like yaoi or yuri. I don’t know all of them, but… when a word doesn’t show up in a dictionary during translation, there’s a high chance it’s an otaku term, haha. Otaku all over the world are truly amazing.

“Endgame”… That word isn’t really used in JP at all the only thing that comes to mind is Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. Even on JP Google, that’s the only suggestion that shows up, LOL

But in EN-speaking countries, it’s used in such a wide range of ways… It’s hard to find a good JP equivalent for it.

There hasn’t been any merch featuring Lucifer and Lilith together since the “family enjoying autumn leaf viewing” poster that came out right after S1 ended, but now I’m genuinely glad I bought it without hesitation.
