I just watched a reel where a man was concerned about whether or not the neighborhood kids would have food. So, for Halloween, he was giving out Chef Boyardee, ready-made meals, and oatmeal packages—things that could be made, you know, for kids. I thought that was amazing.

Since I retired, I get my health insurance through the marketplace. Without the subsidy, I will have to pay 10x what I pay now monthly. I hope Dems hold firm; lots of people are going to lose their insurance. Also, Republicans hold the White House, Senate & House; any shutdown is on them
