i would tend to agree. and fwiw, i don’t necessarily abide by that line of thinking myself, i just routinely see people asking why younger folks aren’t more active and/or why they seem apathetic here, and i believe that’s a large part of the answer

sure, but the thing is most young people are already fighting for survival. the older crowd doesn’t get that. anyone who bought a home prior to 2015 is living in a completely different world than we are. i don’t agree with it but the fact is they see no future to live for.

i didn’t vote for this & most people under the age of 40 never have. the vast majority of people who’ve placed us in this situation are too old to take responsibility for it. that’s the truth. not saying its right but why would young people fight for a country that’s done nothing but betray them?

unfortunately the answer to this is why you’ve never seen a successful overthrow of the modern russian or chinese governments within their own soil. massive military police states.

it definitely comes off as extremely condescending. “you guys should do something!” yeah gee thanks i’d never thought of that

let them risk retribution or retaliation from the current federal govt, so be it. forget political strategy. they can include the hague for all i care. even better. we need to know that even if they cannot act right now, there is a plan and no matter how long it takes this will not go unpunished.

they should be convening a series of generals, current/former intel, psych experts, & prosecutors for the inevitable tribunal that needs to take place in this country when all is said & done. abroad or not. the people want justice. we need to know its all being documented for future trial at minimum

maybe i’m naive but it feels rare to come across his personality type and have it actually be genuine and not some front for masculinity or hidden cowardice, which is mostly what we’ve seen in the last decade of the american political/judicial landscape.
