Idk if it’s true, but in concert he said this song was about when he got very drunk before an early flight, crashed at a friends house, hit his head twice on a beam the next morning (“I aim true / but the grounds where I go”); caught his flight very hungover but Colin Farrell, who he only sort 1/2
