Ah, so this is a remake of sorts of the original Blacktron Renegade. That’s really cool though! I’m happy to see them acknowledge their classic Lego Space sets. That stuff is really iconic.

Afterwords we got dinner at Earl of Sandwich. We went with a Le Frenchy sandwich, which has ham, Brie and honey mustard. Yum.

Went to the Lego store and was absolutely shocked to see a Blacktron set! I used to have these back when I was a kid! I don’t know why they’re selling these. The boxes weren’t in great shape, so maybe they found a pile of them in a warehouse somewhere? Of course I had to get it X3

We went to Chez Remy’s for lunch. The restaurant is set up so that it’s like you’re a rat eating in a makeshift eatery. Really fun and creative!

Today we went to the Walt Disney Studios park next to the main park. This is sort of the ‘Extras’ park, like Pixar, Marvel, and movie production stuff.

Good morning! Today is day two of our France trip. We were jet lagged as hell, so we passed out early but surprisingly woke up at a decent time.

Started the morning with some espresso. Mmm.

Plans for today are just to tour the park and meet up with some friends who travelled from the Netherlands!

The hotel room we’re staying in is really nice, but what is with French bathrooms having a shower with only half a shower door? XD

Anywho, that was our first day at Disney. This is a family trip and Kay’s family are Disney nerds. This is the fourth Disney park we’ve been to, worldwide.

The food was really good. I got a Winter’s Rose drink which had an actual frozen rose in it. I got a duck appetizer, a lamb main course and a small cake dessert. It doesn’t look like a lot of food, but I was stuffed. Forgot to take a pic of the lamb after they poured the sauce on it.

We’re staying at a really nice hotel, which has a lot of Beauty and the Beast themes. We had dinner in a ‘ballroom’ which was gorgeous. Every table had the rose from the movie in the center, and they had characters come over to meet and greet during dinner and take photos with fans.

They had a Sword in the Stone area where people tried to pull the sword out. Nobody did it, but apparently there is an employee who watches from a hiding place and hits a button to give someone the sword if they deem them worthy XD

Also the castle is especially pretty at night.

The interior of the Castle is gorgeous with a lot of stained glass windows and tapestries depicting scenes from Sleeping Beauty. Tons of Maleficent, which I highly approve of.
