Well…it has been a shit last few weeks. I broke my foot the evening before my parent’s internment ceremony…work has completely been crazy lately…and now I have pneumonia. Upcoming? My birthday is in 11 days…that might be good if I wasn’t going to be 63…😳

It’s 0415 and all is well…except I’m laying here wide awake when I should be sleeping. Remembering so many that are gone today. Family, friends, co-workers…those who lost their lives serving our country…wondering about the future…too much going on in my brain this morning.

Tomorrow I pack my parent’s urn in my car and drive to Seattle. Wednesday my father and mother will have their service. They have been sitting on my desk in my living room since my mom died last August. My dad died in March of 2023. Dad is getting full military honors. I was asked for my thoughts:

OMG! I am so sick of hearing about the transgender mice! When you try to explain it’s actually transgenic and it means something completely different, these people look at you like you’re an idiot and shake their heads…I truly didn’t think this much stupidity actually existed…

Looking around at our current political landscape, it never ceases to amaze me how stupid some of my fellow humans are. As someone who is neurodivergent I never really felt like I fit in with the “herd.” I was always “weird” or “different.” Now I’m kind of glad about that.

I just stepped on a pencil and it flipped up and stabbed me in the foot…this is exactly why diabetics should always wear shoes or slippers…even in the house…what makes it worse? I’m a nurse and know better… 🤦♀️
