Putting raised medians is having the same effect, I’d say. Puts more traffic onto quiet side streets as people just try to get home or to the store.

Why is it that Kroger has on its self-checkout in the vegetable searches, expensive vegetables that the store doesn’t carry on its 1st search page and the common, cheap stuff on page 2 or 3? I didn’t even realize for years that there was a right arrow that went to page 2 or 3 of tomatoes.

Customers are thirsting for honesty and respect. Grocery store chains are too stupid and greedy to see that they’ll lose out.

If a store were to be honest, keep prices constant by eliminating sales, deals, coupons, eliminating those who are paid to strategize how to cheat the elderly and non-english speaking, and we’re just honest, they could be the good guys and customers would return to their stores.

First thing, a woman called me stupid lazy, and told me she wasn’t putting up with my shenanigans. I hadn’t spoken or interacted with her yet. I try to be kind, helpful, and ethical. Thanks. It was early, so my defenses were not yet in place and I was the only one around.

So many people with whom I came in contact at my job were so mean and cranky today. Don’t tell random strangers off because you’re pissed off. We didn’t cause it.
