I agree. Think how much happier people would be if instead of harassing & complaining about something they dislike with a game, they just decide they dislike it & move on to focus on something they like.

They're fine if people are having fun with it, but it is not my cup of tea. Instead I'll just work on converting 1e's narrative starship combat & wait to see the tactical starship combat rules whenever Tech Core releases.

While I definitely agree that people should just be patient & not harass the writers, the cinematic starship rules are very much a disappointment for me. I was expecting something closer to he's narrative starship combat, instead of what seems to amount to an extra complex hazard.

I have similar issues with my insulin. My doctor keeps telling me to use GoodRX to help get things cheaper, which it technically will. But going from $140 to $120 doesn't really help much. GoodRX could drop it down to $35, but I don't qualify because I have state insurance.

My favorite kaiju related thing in a ttrpg is a kobold subrace in pf2e, where they are related to a kaiju instead of a dragon. They're naturally stronger & tougher, & at level 13, they can take a feat that grows them to large size 2/day & let's them knock creatures prone when they jump.

I have the opposite problem. I haven't completed a single playthrough of any game this year.

The only recent thing with animorphs that I am aware of is the graphic novel adaption. It's been tempting to pick it up.

I've played the first one and read the book. I haven't been able to play the others, though. I'm hoping that we'll get an updated re-release of some sort, but I won't hold my breath.

I'm voting for Harris for pretty much the same reasons. I lost my job a while back & had to go back to using the state insurance. I had to switch so many medications for less effective ones. I was flabbergasted that one of my diabetes meds runs around $1400.

I'm Kai927. I like both ttrpgs & video games, as well as various anime. While good rules are important for a game, what really sucks me in is the lore/setting details. I've spent ungodly amounts of time looking into & researching various aspects of a given game setting.
