Thing is, pointy ears aren't limited to Hylians either, we've been shown both round and pointy ears can occur in Gerudo, and again, Hylians are frequently called humans, too

It's alright if you don't wanna think of it like that, though

Hylians are a fictional enthnicity with a higher affinity for magic in the Zelda universe, yes

but they are considered human

and Zelda does differentiate between humans and "sub-humans" (I believe Historia used this term) like Gorons and Zora, so it's not a blanket term for mortals here

I think I love the characters

Hylians are humans, that's just a Zelda lore fact

they're consistently referred to as such, too

I used to have trouble with feeling like this

I don't really know how to help though, sorry, cause I just slowly got more relaxed about it over time, I didn't do anything specific...

Even had their babies hanging out acting like the Dodongo babies in OoT
