Sometimes I see posts on Reddit or TikTok that show the handwriting of kids that are in like grades 6/7/8 and it legit looks like a six year old wrote it. I know a lot of stuff nowadays is done on computers or tablets but damn. You’d think they’d learn how to write properly too. 😭

I finally finished We Need to Talk About Kevin. It was okay. I knew that the husband (and eventual daughter) were going to be dead from about the second chapter though, pfft. Never did I think she was writing letters to her alive but just not around anymore husband.

You have to be blind or living under a rock for the past 30 or so years if you think no one has ever called Johnny Depp attractive. Say what you want about him NOW, but from like the late 80s up to the late 2000s he was VERY MUCH considered attractive lmao.

I’m reading We Need to Talk About Kevin right now and it’s another one of those books that people say is so disturbing but I’m 70% of the way through and so far I’m like… eh. It’s fine, but so far not too bad.

The fact that Canadians will complain about our healthcare system because of wait times, meanwhile in the USA people are becoming homeless and literally dying in the street because they can’t afford to go to the hospital. Could our healthcare be better? Sure, but I’m not dying in the street either.

In other news my cat just ran out of the bathroom with poop stuck to her butt. Hissed at me when I tried to help her but eventually gave up and calmed down enough for me to snip it off for her. This happens so often you’d think she’d be used to it by now. 🙄

Done this now too. It has a cup inside so you can use it as a real vase if you want to.

My uncle came in and my mom’s cat, sure enough, stood there and hissed at him. Swatted at him too. Surprisingly she didn’t attack him, probably because he’s a big guy. But she didn’t back down either when he walked towards her. 😭

Any time I shave I literally only use water and like the cheapest razors you can buy but I end up bleeding. I don’t cut myself but it’s kinda like getting scrapes or something. And now I’m like hmm maybe there IS a point to using shaving cream after all…

Had a dream last night that the brakes in my car stopped working and I didn’t have any money to replace them. My dad also didn’t have any money for me to borrow to get them in said dream, which is usually what happens in my real life when I need car parts lmao. It was horrible.

Just randomly was thinking, when is the actual first day of winter? Because I’ve been saying it’s already winter for like a month. Once we get snow I consider it winter. So I googled it, and it’s today lmao.

I mentioned MAID the other day and how only people who are going to die or who already live in unbearable pain use it, then today I listened to a podcast episode about a guy in the UK who had acid thrown on him by an ex. He ended up using MAID (called voluntary euthanasia) because of it.

I hate when true crime goes more into conspiracy level stuff. Like I was listening to an episode about that Australian prime minister who went missing while swimming however many years ago that was, and the conspiracy theories are ridiculous lmao.

I really wish I had the money to replace my black coffee table and TV stand because my lord the DUST. And not just regular dust, because despite having one of those litter catcher mats, my cat has some DUSTY little paws.

AND when I go onto the virtual desktop that we used to use (now we use a VPN or something idk) said program still works fine??? So it must be something with the laptop right because like, it works on the VIRTUAL laptop??? Waaaaah. 😭

Oh my GOD that problem I was having like two or three weeks ago with this one particular program not working on my work laptop is happening AGAIN. They couldn’t fix it last time either they had to reset my entire laptop which took hours! I want a new laptop at this point. 😡
