Day 4: Binding Site
Not a lot of orange-ish hubs in 2kki! But I was determined to give it that retro CGI look, so I spent all day learning Blender... only to change my mind and start over in Paint3D xD

Smells like a specific cologne from when I was a kid. Kind of like pine?

Yume 2kki location: Binding Site. A slightly abstract open area where some symbols (Phoenician letters) float in a circle. The symbols are glowing while Urotsuki watches them with a smile. There are several columns in the area, and you can see a blue abstract sky through some rectangular cutouts on the walls and floor. The whole image emulates early CGI graphics and a nostalgic aesthetic.

Day 3: Field of Cosmos

I'll be the first to say I'm a big fan of putting little hats on the jizo. Although this generally strikes me as a sunny world, I wanted to do something a bit moody with it~

This place smells exactly like what it looks like!

Yume 2kki location: Field of Cosmos. A drawing of an open field of soft hills covered in cosmos flowers. The sky is overcast with some dark clouds. There's a winding path traversing the fields. The focal point is six jizo statues alongside this path. Each of them is wearing a different hat. Urotsuki is sitting among them, wearing a hat of her own.

Day 5: Dysmorphic World. (🚩flesh blobs and such!)

Today I wanted to go to bed at a decent time so I tried something symmetrical~ This world is very simple, but also very fun to draw. Now with lumps for extra gross! #dotflow

This time it's a more abstract piece rather than a proper landscape. There's a large, red eye in the center of the piece, surrounded by smaller, yellow eyes with different deformities. On the bottom there are pale blobs of flesh, covered in lumps. One has a gaping mouth with teeth, another has a bulging eyeball. Two of them had their eyes gouged out, and they're bleeding from their empty eyesockets. There's also another small yellow eyeball in the middle.

Same scenario, in-game! The blobs are actually NPCs, and the red eye is an image floating in the background. Sabitsuki is also here, sporting one big red eye on her face!

Day 4: Psychedelic Town.

Truth be told, I finished this a while ago with a tiiinyyyy psychedelic Sabi in the background... but then just as I was posting it, I was overcome by the urge to draw the Dress effect x3
I WORKED SO HARD ON THE BG AND SHE'S COVERING IT NOW >:C #dotflow

Sabitsuki exploring Psychedelic Town. It's a sort of red light district inspired by Kabukicho. All the buildings are outlined in neon pink and light blue, while the rest of the area remains mostly dark. There are a lot of commercial signs with abstract imagery reminiscent of hostess bars and the like. Shadowy figures wander the town. Two of them are guarding the entrance to a large pink building, called Sweet Sugar. They seem to be bouncers. Sabitsuki is standing in front of this building, wearing her black dress.

The dress is inspired by v-kei fashion, because I'm self-indulgent like that. It consists of a jumperskirt with thin straps and lacing, worn with nothing underneath. The skirt is layered and very poofy. She's wearing a lace choker, assymetrical elbow-length gloves and a hair corsage with a short veil that partially obscures her face. I also gave her makeup to complete her look. Her hair is spiky as always.

Same scenario, in-game! I'm choosing to believe she's wearing giant platforms. Not that it matters, it just sparks joy.

Day 3: Snow World.

I don't think I have a lot to say about this place, but I like it. It's soft and calming in a world where such things are rare. Speaking of, I wonder if Sabitsuki is carrying her whistle with her... #dotflow

Sabitsuki is wearing her black hood and looking at the sky, unaware of a trail of small footsteps approaching her through the snow...

Same scenario, in-game! No secret footsteps here, but that's just because I didn't go looking for them.

Day 2: Cleaner. (🚩 big blood!)

I love the mix of elegance and ruthless practicality of her design. So cool! This one in particular makes my mind wander... I was going to give her EGL pumps but then I thought about rubber boots. Seems best for her line of work hehe #dotflow

At the end of a narrow corridor surrounded by red, a Cleaner stands at attention. She's wearing a traditional maid costume with a long skirt and a ruffled apron, as well as galoshes and heavy duty rubber gloves for cleaning. Her face is obscured by a gas mask with a bright red stare that gazes back at you.

There is a chainsaw on the floor next to her, it seems to have been used recently: You can see the aftermath of a bloody incident, with trails indicating someone dragged themselves away.

Same scenario, in-game! Sabitsuki is here, her arms and legs seem to have been recently amputated, and she has tumbled down. There are rusty poles with gore dripping down.

Day 1: Sabitsuki's room.

Last year ended in a bedroom, so it makes sense to start our journey here! I imagine Sabi has little energy for housekeeping, so things tend to gravitate towards a certain type of austerity. I like how her personality seems to shine through her essential items~ #dotflow

It's the room of Sabitsuki, the main character of .flow. It's a small, frugal room with a rather somber vibe.

The walls are unpainted concrete and seem to have some water damage. The floor is a rusty colour, and there's a naked lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. The window to the veranda is cracked and has been patched with duct tape. Her bed is is unmade, and her trash bin is full.

In the middle of the room there's a cozy orange carpet with a TV, a famicom console and some pillows scattered. One of them looks like a pink kitty face. There's also a bookcase.

The main feature is Sabitsuki's desktop computer, which she's using right now. The screen is very large and projects a harsh blue light. On each side of the computer there's a large, dark machine with thick red cables coming out of them. The desktop surface is littered with medicine blister packs, half-eaten cup noodles and crumpled tissues with blood on them. It seems she just shoved them aside for now.

Same scenario, in-game! Truth be told, there's no lightbulb, trash bin or cup noodles here, but I thought Sabitsuki might enjoy them, so I drew them in for her. Also, her bed is properly made and her desk is clear. She's probably not as messy as I drew her.

Day 1: Lavender Waters

I am fashionably late `¬´! I wasn't sure about the angle, since I did a similar shot 2 years ago for Midnight Lake, but I think it came out okay x3

This time I'll tell you what each world smells like to me.
Lavender, duh! But also like fancy hand lotion.

The house has a mailbox, a pier where boats can be moored, and a chair, presently occupied by Urotsuki, who's dozing off. Around the house, trees grow from the water, as well as some clusters of lavender flowers. There's a swan nearby.
