I assume they are talking about acknowledging your white privilege. But that’s not an apology, just basic awareness of how the world currently works.

Does total comp include future pension or what does it entail?

In a lot of places peoples names aren’t released until convicted of a crime

Finally, because of the lack of priority road signs, most drivers in NA assume that they have priority in the absence of a yield/stop sign.
That makes uncontrolled intersections in NA very dangerous, while in Europe it is obvious that you are at an uncontrolled intersection.

Additionally, there are no "priority road" signs. So approaching an intersection you have no idea if it is uncontrolled or the other road has a stop or yield sign.

That makes uncontrolled intersections in NA essentially four way stops because you have to slow down sufficiently to look for traffic from any direction.
December 8, 2025 at 4:16 PM
In the former you need to check three directions (left, right, front) when going straight. In the latter, you only check for one (right).
December 8, 2025 at 4:14 PM
What I am trying to say that in NA you need to yield to anyone will reach the intersection before you, whereas in most parts of Europe you only yield to cars from the right even if a car from the left reaches it before you.

Yes it says “at approximately the same time” which is different from what I am talking about

I think it is called "Priority to the Right" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priorit...

I meant the rule that one has to yield to the car on the right at an uncontrolled intersection, regardless of who arrived first, and also at T-Intersections.
December 8, 2025 at 4:57 AM
North America doesn't have yield-to-the-right or signs to indicate priority roads. So you always have to use a four-way stop, traffic signal, or traffic circle when two roads cross.

In an ideal world, the US and Canada would sign the Vienna Convention, and adopt proven ways to manage traffic.

That's what it says in the article:
"Metallic balloons, also known as mylar balloons, have a silvery coating that conducts electricity, which can short transformers and melt electric wires"

I would not be surprised if they start murdering people on American soil.

Waymos sometimes also wait in red zones for passengers. I hate how hard people fought for daylighting, and now those spots are basically just passenger loading areas.

Is there any place in the US that allows you to go more than 80mph? Maybe cars should just max out at that speed.
