2/ I used handcrafted alphas and some of Substance Painter’s default watercolor brushes to achieve the painterly look.

For the outlines, I used the inverted hull method, duplicating the mesh, assigning new material slots, and painting custom brushstroke textures for each outline.

1/ The model consists of 3 parts: the glass hood, the body/head, and the outlines. Each had its own material setup. The body/head was manually painted in Substance Painter, using layer-based color separation for a "nondestructive-ish" workflow.
