Tough question, Faenor leans very heavily on idealogy that he can't waste time thinking on what ifs. However, I think his biggest regrets are not burning his family's cult to the ground when he still could or not being able to save Edda's life as she was his student.

It so happened that Faenor ended up finding a orphan girl called M'erma and falling in love with a man who came to be called warrior of light, Harakio. He travels now with both of them, not knowing what brought them together was that final wish. Seeing them together, Watcher finally felt peace.

Faenor actually did meet with Caelus on Elpis and as a watcher. He just didn't know and to this day doesn't know he's a shard of Caelus.
Caelus is certainly much more gentle and patient and he's less harsh to himself than Faenor is. Faenor due to his life experiences 1/4
