It's a cool idea in theory but poor in execution. I ended up just reading the whole book like normal anyway. I just don't think "VN mechanics" work that well in a LN format.

The premise being that you're supposed to be an university student participating in survey where you watch these "24 short films" and rank them, in what is the book's unique "reader participation gimmick".

Though it's a chore to read as a whole since the short stories are obviously not connected, just a random mishmash of stories. Their "only" connection is in the premise-

Short stories ranging from one about anthropomorphized computer viruses, one on suspension bridge effect, some weird ninja story, some weird hero story etc... You're definitely getting variety, if nothing else.
