Arguably it's not perfect. This book is going to take me 5 days to make full sense of, and combat is....meh. but it's 2e, did expect.

And this is what I wish we could go back to. It literally has a text block for every logical angle the PCs can take and has an outcome, even one's that are dead ends. The NPCs have more than one sentence descriptions and every one of them is relevant. Why don't we wrote adventures like this anymore?
