“Playing girly” feels like a playful piece at first, but has feminist undertones. I think it seems to comment on how girls are programmed from a young age to like specific products deemed “feminine” which can make their appearance “more beautiful” or emulate the “perfect” body type.

After visiting the Clyfford Still museum, I was able to see how the environment of the museum impacts the viewership of Still's work. The overall modern building compliments the abstract nature of Still's paintings. The building is made of poured concrete and has a perforated roof.
