Update! I left my apartment. And now I'm exhausted. 0/10 would not recommend.

I've been here a little over two weeks. But that felt very early. I think there were only 12-15,000 users at that point and I didn't really know anyone. It's just been the last couple of days where I have started to recognize a lot of accounts I followed before.

Yeah, hardly anyone notices or cares what I do here. Big cliques haven't formed yet. I have no idea who most people are yet. The most annoying $8 users are no longer the first 4 dozen replies under every post. It's like the old, naive, wild, early days of Twitter.

I guess I should consider myself lucky. Maybe it's b/c I've never worked in tech, journalism, politics, etc. but I have never had a boss or even a coworker on Twitter. They only try to add me on Facebook. And I don't socialize on Facebook! I only still have one to get free stuff in my neighborhood!

And I'll even feel really proud of how I handled the situation. I'll know I remained calm and respectful and gave them the benefit of the doubt but when they just remain really argumentative, I have such a hard time disengaging and not taking it personally or ruminating on it. I don't know why.

Probably a 5. I like the welcoming attitude. It's giving off vibes reminiscent of the good parts of early Twitter. But there are some aspects of later Twitter that I miss not having here. And I haven't really found many good follows or my community here yet. But it's only been a day.

I moved about 4 months ago and my books are STILL in boxes. The bookcase is finally coming next week and I can finally let go of the shame I get from my box tower corner
