If I had a nickel for every time I tripped over a pyre for the Hunchback of Notre Dame, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. (IN THE SAME DAY AS WELL)

Edit to what I just posted today, I have finally finished the first act!!! Act 2 is going to mainly focus on the war of white roses and the impact it had on not just the people fighting, but also the civilians

Storm
Uriel always hated thunderstorms. Even more so now that it reminds him of the massacre that took place not long ago. When this happens, he usually goes to Ottovan for comfort. Hopefully, he can reassure him everything will be alright.

As poor Ottovan's garden dies, something else grows. Something darker, ruthless and Hungry. Like a beast begging to be released, his hunger gnaws and rips away at his insides. It won't be long before poor Ottovan can't take it anymore.

Uriel's nightmare.
Uriel woke up from a bad nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep. Ottovan knows how bad nightmares get, so he comforts the young siren. What a wholesome moment, even though it came from a sticky situation.

More Uriel trauma! He has his eye gouged out by his own father [not otto,the one in the previous drawing] then proceeds to watch him die, his older brother die, and his country burn to the ground.

I've kissed the brick long enough, time to throw it! Uriel's biological father [the one on the left] is basically Claude Frollo to Quasimodo if you understand. However, he's not perverted, he's just ruthlessness for the sake of the gods Sapphira serves.
