As for the Loom, I love Weavers' island art and general atmosphere, a sense of loneliness, etc. The use of excerpts of "Swan lake" is bold and elevates greatly the gaming experience.

Turrican 3 has a better gameplay and gfx than Turrican 2, and comparable music, imo. I don't consider larger levels as an advantage - why do I need 99 lives for? 😉 I've played both games only on Amiga. (Turrican 1 is horrendous, btw.)
