I went there for the first time last year. It's neat! Pretty close to the airport. There's an official Discord group. The artists' alley is impressively large, and the costumes are a delight. I wish I had stayed longer — I didn't really have time to check out any programming.

VR #JMoF is doing something interesting at #Resonite this year... a mixed reality portal, where three 3D scanners in the physical venue brings in attendees into the VR venue.

It's pretty demanding on the GPU though.

Its Sunday evening at the airport. The departure level and domestic arrival are quiet despite the line up at the check in counter.

However a flight just arrived from overseas and international arrivals is full of activity.

Earlier in the year I did my first avatar repaint project. Didn't manage to fully finish in time, but i still quite like the state its in.

I've been wanting to curate a list/palette of faux fur fabric swatch RGB values for reference and 3D texture (PBR asset creation).

I want to avoid inaccuracies picking colors out of JPEG that might be in others' lists, like automatic white balance and film-like saturation.

arrived at airport 10:45 → left the airport 14:45 after figuring out if i can rent an EV.

i had no idea if there was an EV charger where i was staying and if my credit card would cover collision damages. turns out both answers are yes!
