I got them done but it took me from 10am to 1am the next day to get them functional.

The boi is finished enough to be wearable! I plan to add some neck and back floof to try and fix the comically large head effect - but for a first attempt at it all I'm quite happy with what I've learned.

Ok so after making new eyes I had to also carve the sockets to get them to fit properly. THEN I decided I did a terrible job at the innter lining, so I ripped that out and did that all again!
Worth it though! I've glued in the new eyes, filled the gaps with more foam and trimmed the fur to match :>

The boi is starting to take shape! Probably going to redo the beak fabric and eyes, and give him some kind of spikey hairdo on the crown of the head to make him less * r o u n d * 😁

Day ?? - Finally made eyes that could slot into the holes I had already made (which i think is the wrong way to do it but lesson learned!), shaped beak more and cut out some ventilation/ ear holes on the sides. All thats left is to cut the felt and fur i think? This will not end well 😅

Day 9? - I have filled an entire bin bag with foam shreds. It is time to move on to duct tape before there is nothing left to trim!
