Lupus News: New studies have shown the importance of testing for hematuria (blood in urine) for those with lupus nephritis. Persistent hematuria can be a better indicator for kidney long-term kidney damage, than other lupus indicators.

Lupus News: New research has found more about the beneficial effects of higher doses of hydroxychloroquine on lupus - in particular cardiovascular disease. HCQ has adverse effects and changes in dosages should always be discussed with healthcare providers.

Lupus in the News: Researchers in Canada studying air pollution and autoimmune diseases has found that a certain kind of pollution, fine particulate matter (PM2.5), was linked to higher levels of ANAs, a common antibody found in those with lupus!
