Kids who were never going to do the work to begin with would cite Wikipedia, use SparkNotes instead of doing the reading, or hand in an essay they’d ripped off the internet. And they usually paid the price for it, one way or another. It did not however handicap us generationally

I knew kids like this in college. Obviously AI wasn’t around back then, but I can’t count how many articles I read back then about how SparkNotes, Wikipedia, or whatever essay site of the day was going to ruin Millennial minds and make us completely useless for the adult world
