However, that's not to say the public domain is bad- quite the opposite, in fact.
Also, bear in mind that getting rid of the public domain won't prevent horror films or otherwise edgy adult versions of old IPs. For example, Velma and the Banana Splits movie were both approved by Warner Bros.

It only got up to 50 over here, but it crept into the 60s the next day.
You should see our Halloweens. A few years ago, it actually began snowing in the middle of trick-or-treating, and the next it was in the upper 70s.
