Early autumn vibes at the Öreg-tó (Old Lake) in my parents' hometown of Tata, Hungary.

On the northern tip of the lake stands the Tata Castle, built in the mid 14th-century during the reign of Sigismund of Luxembourg (r. 1433–1437).

I used to think I was an insomniac, that I had a hard time getting regular, normative sleep.

Ha, Destiny. On a side note, it pains me to post *anything* regarding the Russian Arts during this dire, perilous time in Ukraine. My theoretical cut-off point is the 19th century... anything from that era gets a pass from me, as it has zero connection to the wretched Putin regime. 🕊️
