So researching it he apparently had such a great time on Wrath he worked with the filmmakers to make the death more ambiguous so that's why they included the scene with McCoy getting mind melded

Because the theme was actually gim dealing with aging, I think? Also they set up Spock giving McCoy his katra in the film so it was always going to happen

He was also a socialist and tried to get more of that sort of thing into his books. Hell, he even let people run with it and pushed Baen to refuse book DRM and create the Baen Free Library so, it's fair enough to not like his books but the man tried to do some great things for his readers

The right motivates through fear, we have to make the hope outweigh the fear. You can only do that by fighting back. Take their arguments from them and point out how weird and stupid they are. Enough of this "high road" bullshit.

It's kind of weird because sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. For instance they have been milking STO and some actual plays for ship designs by the games lead ship designer Thomas Marrone. Honestly the game does a good job of mixing in all ST properties into one place and canon in ST is soft

There's an entire mission series in Star Trek Online about getting the Jem'Hadar exactly this and I think the only DS9 cast that didn't return for it was Avery Brooks, Colm Meaney and Michael Dorn (Worf has a non speaking appearance and Dorn had an infamous galling out with the original developer)
