My last Fatal Fury was Real Bout, my last King of Fighters was 1999, so I may be excused to be openminded when it came to what City of the Wolves was offering, a continuation after nearly 26 years.

Someone (Anno) at Studio Khara is a Trekkie. Why else would a vessel in the latest Gundam series share a name with an infamous vessel from Star Trek? Both original series getting canceled in their initial runs is one thing they have in common!
