I do find it hilarious how they immediately backtracked after this and deleted the comment

There was the distinct sense that the story being told was a dumbed down kid safe version of the actual thing

Dream I had

Room identical to my own except I had an old timey radio playing a London radio station with a small blue “on” light resembling a moon. It was normal, just news and music until suddenly the host started telling a story. It was a classic campfire story about a monster called “I Hungry For You”. The monster met the protagonist and it insisted “I Hungry For You” to which the protagonist pleaded that surely it must be hungry for something else they could get it, and it kept shooting down every option until they were so demoralized they let it eat them

The host then ended going “There is one thing protecting you, the light of the moon. Unfortunately that ends tonight’s broadcast”, played a jingle, and the light on the radio went out leaving me in complete darkness
