@cdf1982 o ic, Hong Kong is about the same tbh, it’s literally off on its own island about 1.5hrs away from the main parts.

Current issue is this other city I’m in it has so far taken about 4 hours to travel 10km

@wjmaggos great point about education, i remember reading about “inoculating” against cognitive biases like this by preempting exposures with a real understanding that it’s a definite possibility to watch out for etc. o look…philosophy, psychology, the “soft” sciences that ppl say are useless 🥲
