Gender, ie femininity & masculinity are socially constructed stereotypes, those who deviate are often "punished". Sex, the state of being female or male is a material reality.
Sadly, we still live in a world built for male bodies & privileging males.

Ways men can support women's liberation :-
Don't abuse or harass women
Don't objectify women (this includes not using porn)
Challenge other men's sexism, objectification of women
Support women who are campaigning for rights
If you are hetro do 50% of housework & childcare, don't expect recognition

The only political party I have ever a member of was the ecology party. But I've been spoiling my ballot for nearly 40 years as men's politics let's women down so badly, I'm afraid I don't see Polanski as any better.

Please consider that while you may be fine with the words other survivors may be highly triggered.
Or at least put a trigger warning for language.

Please don't use such sexist and misogynist language. It is extremely triggering to those of us who have experienced male violence.
These are the words used by men to abuse women
Show solidarity with survivors of male violence in your language.

Your sexism, ageism & misogyny can't be said to be internalised.

Yes I am and always have been more than critical of the sexist stereotypes of gender.
I reject the notion.
I have no religion, I reject the male world and all who support it.

Being a woman is simply a matter of being born female and having achieved adulthood.
All the rest is cultural noise.
How you choose to dress, wear your hair, colours you like, hobbies you enjoy, job you choose are all just matters of taste.
Femininity is a mechanism by which patriarchy oppresses us.

I have only ever heard such language from those who also refer to women as "vagina owners"
November 14, 2025 at 9:07 PM
I'm sorry but if you use "he/they" pronouns you don't get to define who is and is not a feminist.
