also, aside from the sci-fi nonsense of living in space any time soon, why would I *want* to? Earth is great! There are forests and deserts and vibrant downtowns and oceans and a million different ways to feel the sun on my face...being in space would get boring fast

I mean I'd rather people engage with stuff they find challenging, but you can also just go and look at stuff that you think is neat or that makes you feel good. The museums are huge, you won't even have time to see everything.

- Museums aren't meant to make you "comfortable"
- SO MANY Smithsonian exhibits are positive and patriotic, or very traditional, or just cool, without any hint of "wokeness." You can look at portraits of famous white guys, or paintings of Niagara, or WWII aircraft, or neat gemstones!
