it's not bc of a superiority complex. coming back to the show we don't see Viktor ever EVER say or show he believes he's better than ppl from zaun but it's the opposite bc he wants better for zaun and he tries to use his privileged position to help them against the council's wishes.

is by coming from a point of class privilege. see I don't come from it and I work a minimum wage factory job. we live in a capitalist world. meritocracy is system that people believe in bc they have hope their lives can become better if they work harder. that's just the reality.

"I think" and that's your first problem bc your opinion of what happened is smth you believe was represented in canon when it wasnt. there is no scene or line of dialogue in the show that show that Viktor believes in meritocracy bc he has a superiority complex and the only way you could believe that

take them seriously. you never know who's reading your posts. I do however agree completely with the poor writing of the show when it comes to race/oppression. should've been handled a lot better it's the strongest criticism I have of the awful writing of the show

Viktor with his humanity was not willing to sacrifice Vander for his own supremacy but later on in the show when he loses his humanity and sense of self he does exactly that bc at that point the hexcore already took over.

him out like he's Hitler or smth. he didn't want to change zaunites he wanted to heal them. the hexcore is like a parasite that manipulated and slowly changed its host which is btw what the writers themselves confirmed so ! not only that but it's kinda obvious from what happened to vander.

season 2 affirms that Viktor not only felt guilty abt what happened to sky but that he genuinely cared for her. an unfeeling arrogant misogynist would not care lmao these ppl made up a whole version of Viktor that doesn't exist
