As I told @katecagle.bsky.social, city employees are already frustrated because they don't have the capacity or resources to deliver the games.

But these budget hearings seem to confirm that the internal strategy is to eliminate jobs and rely on volunteers to do the actual megaevent preparations

Just 7 days before the LA28 venue plan is due to the IOC, McOsker has filed *yet another motion* — this one asking for a report on potential "financial risks, operational burdens, or liabilities" for all the LA28 venues outside of the city of LA and to determine responsibility for any cost overruns
