Watching someone you love slowly slip away and turn into someone you barely recognize anymore is so hard. The person she was has morphed into a different person entirely. Loved her then, love her now…it requires so much more patience, time and understanding now. (Dementia)

Being the main caretaker for someone with dementia is challenging. Never knowing when you'll get the text/call that they need you for _______(fill in the blank) at any given time. Wondering if I will have the energy to give that day. Simple things always take longer with them. I'm always tired. 💜

My friends say they like me b/c I'm a calming person. I have a soft voice (most of the time) & I do not have an aggressive personality. I try to live in the world of calm and collected. I realized today, everyone who means the most to me deals with good amounts of anxiety. I <3 my friends so much

Tried (fried) pork rinds for the first time today. Thoughts: extremely crunchy, do not smell inside the bag (mistake), undecided if I like them.....probably would not buy again.
