some of the most inspirational artwork for me are sketches and early concept art. you get to see the process and figure out the more important compositional elements, which both helps you learn art skills and recognize that it's not supposed to be perfect at the moment your pen meets paper

I'm vaguely aware of a process by which certain kanji are removed from the dictionary if enough people don't know it, but the idea that that will eventually extend to all kanji is a bit far fetched. But like, a hyper-linguist did it for written Korean, so clearly it can be done
