These iconic sharks are often considered to be THE Deep Sea Shark.
Using their long snouts, they will search for food in the dark, almost like a hammerhead in the sand!

Our haul so far!
I wanna try and get one more beach day in if I can to see if we can find something truly extraordinary!

But I’m super happy with what we’ve been able to find so far! 4th image is my cousin’s finds.

4 fossils imbeded in rock. The left is a shale(?) chunk full of multiple small shells, the top is fossilized coral, the bottom and right are both small belemnite shells.
