It is important to lament destructive behavior.

And it is important to repent if destructive behavior - even when it's not our own.

There is so much destruction in our world, from deporting people without due process to El Salvador to killing innocent Palestinians in Gaza...

But then this B-52, the lives it took, the villages it flattened. An awful agent of destruction.

I wonder if those early aviators, especially the women who just loved the feel of freedom in the sky, imagined what their development and contribution to aviation would create...

Aviation is pretty amazing. The development of engines and materials used to create planes; the stories of women aviators in the 20s-40s is inspiring...
