i was also struck by how many people receiving SNAP are employees of wal-mart and other big corporations. almost seems like we taxpayers are subsidizing private companies 🤔

-if she denied the admin stay, the full SCOTUS woulda stepped in to override her.
-if she immediately referred the case to the full Court, they coulda dragged feet.
-instead she boxed them in to act quickly once she does refer the case.

spoke to someone today who volunteered for mamdani at an early-voting poll site. two cuomo guys were also there. she said they spent the whole time sitting in folding chairs looking at their phones. they chatted, and by the end of the shift the guys were for mamdani. unclear why they were even there
