Like if there was a developmental disorder with their sight or their hearing, and there was a surgery available to correct it I think most parents want doctors to fix it as soon as they could. Why would it be different with sex organs?

The reasoning definitely sounds backwards. If anything, I'd think if someone hears their child has a "disorder" they'd be more likely to have it fixed as soon as possible.

Not sure how much truth there is to Dreger's theory or how it could even be proved, but I think it's at least possible that a lot of otherwise uninformed people just know "intersex" to be in the LGBTQI+ acronym and have negative biases due to that.

LBC referred to trans women as "men, even those with a gender recognition certificate" today. @mrjamesob.bsky.social this is disgusting and dehumanising.
