/7 But because they didn’t provide him with a hearing, he didn’t get a bail determination and spent the weekend in jail. That seems deliberate bad behavior by the feds. There is zero excuse for not getting someone arrested Thursday in Ventura before a magistrate on Friday for a hearing.

/4 ICE being thugs to protestors is typical. This detention appears atypical because as far as I can tell even though Caravello was arrested THURSDAY he did not get a first appearance before a magistrate judge on Friday. Assuming he gets one Monday, they disappeared him for more than 72 hours.
