Perhaps someone who lost a loved one due to denial of coverage resorted to violence. Or perhaps it was a random mentally ill person with a gun. Very sad, no matter what the motive or circumstances.

With this Supreme Court, anything is possible.

If Garland doesn’t release it prior to Trump taking office it will never see the light of day. Perhaps someone with a spine at the DOJ will leak it to the press if Garland decides to bury it.

My X feed is full of MAGA trolls spreading misinformation. It’s become Truth Social on steroids. Not a sustainable model for meaningful discussion.

It took only one such death in Ireland for the constitution to be amended to allow for abortions, this in a predominantly Catholic country. Some state legislatures clearly think women are expendable.

A Special Counsel should have been appointed the day Garland was sworn in. Instead he waited two years, a delay that guaranteed that Trump would never be brought to trial before the election. Such a massive failure of our justice system.

More likely we will end up with Giliad states where no fault divorce is implemented by Republican legislators and governors. Probably the same states that have banned abortion and want to teach the Bible in schools. I can see that coming.

Yes, and they’re going after birthright citizenship next. Doesn’t matter what the plain language of the 14th amendment says. This Court will find its own interpretation. They have gone rogue.

They also require a Supreme Court whose rulings are not politically motivated. The presidential immunity doctrine, for example, was made up from whole cloth to benefit Trump. Constitutional guardrails only work when there is a Supreme Court willing to recognize and enforce them.

It’s pretty clear Musk sees himself as co-president, maybe even sole president. Wondering how long it will take Trump to realize he’s no longer the center of attention. That won’t end well for Musk.

At the very least Biden should give amnesty to the dreamers.
