From my perspective, many of the dems are as rich as the republicans. With legislation leaning toward preserving their money and power, why would they oppose it? I am quite staunchly of the opinion that most politicians don’t actually pursue doing what is good or right for their constituents.

Boundaries are critical and can be difficult. Also, living with elderly parents is a challenge. Full stop.
