A tall order. There are many different meanings one can derive. For one, it could be that I am being showered with gifts, despite awful karma. Or it could mean I'm being punished terribly, though I've done good. Like a cosmic bank error in my favor.

DoveWithScales is a pun. Dove is a nickname my husband gave me, and it stuck. I wanted an online handle which would be unique and memorable, featuring the name Dove. I'm a dragon, named Dove. So I'm a Dove with scales. Which I'd say is pretty unusual.

I knew about his plans.
It wasn't what I wanted
It surely wasn't malicious
It's left me behind, haunted

Paying the selfie tax with a selfie. But it's a tax on selfies, so I dunno how that works.

KM is in the car, grinning like a fool. The sun illuminates the right half of his face. His long black and white hair is visible as both colors for once; the black part visible on the right falls in front of his black shirt, and the white stuff blows back a bit in the wind, catching the sun. He has new blue glasses that somehow look almost exactly the same as his old lame nerd glasses.

that you drown
when it comes down
around your ears.
so, let go those fears!
remember the years
that you spent living some other way.
you can never go backwards,
but you can learn
you can take your life into today.
