I disagree that it matters, even if he carries, it was secured and there was no excuse to kill him. Maybe as a reporter it matters, but as an average citizen, I think it really doesn’t. Because that’s a huge second amendment violation to just start shooting people whom they think might be armed.

I had many friends that were what we would call crust punks or squatters. A lot of them went from playing and punk bands to becoming folk musicians. I always found the shift so interesting but also predictable if you look at folk as a historic genre it always tended to be very political.

Why do people act like it’s nothing?? The flu sucks. I’m very healthy and every time I’ve gotten it (thankfully not often), I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. And I get vaccinated too.

It makes me think of the comment Brad Wilcox (UVA) made about the naturally violent Scots Irish Appalachian men being the reason that people associate domestic violence with Christianity. It’s so stupid.
