Not that there's anyone here that can answer, but I gotta ask -- what's up with the new Metroland? It says they're all volunteers (and when I e-mailed Erin she said writers don't get paid), yet they're distributing dozens of paper copies every week. Where's that money coming from?

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to have disposable income. They should be given all the money to pay their bills but any addtional leftover money they have should be taken and managed by someone else. This would be a really good strategy for fools like me.

It's clear that the last thing we need right now is gun control in America.

Looking back I'm glad everyone got together for the No Kings protest on a warm Saturday. It really clearly made a difference. Not as much as the George Floyd protests and certainly not as much as Occupy Wall Street, but again we used all our social capital for genuine positive social change!

Per the most recent interpretation of the 10th amendment, it's illegal for the federal gov to send military to a state that didnt request it.
Isnt everyone in the National Guard and ICE in a state not their own "following illegal orders"?

Problem w depression in movies is theres always a cause. When i was a kid i used to tell people my parents were dead, hoping thatd either shut them up or get them to stop asking me why im always so sad.

This is great; Trump's own personal bankruptcy ran to about 8 billion. Which wasn't enough for him. Seems the only way to make the people foot an even larger bill is to become President.
