This cover of Begin Again by purity ring was a lot of fun to make. I was striving to make a metal cover without just copying the normal parts to distorted guitar. It gave me the chance to turn the vocal melodies into riffs and use them in a similar fashion as our other music.

Some more blenderin I did. Mostly just a long tunnel in geo nodes. Used the vocal and drum stems from our Ableton project and sound to samples to drive the lights.

We finally finished our album! Not quite sure how to classify the genre. #metalcore seems like the best wide-net, but a lot of times I wanna call it #posthardcore or #melodichardcore. We shift around from like #deathcore to borderline #poppunk at both ends of the spectrum.
