The Iconic local landmarks are a bit different between where I used to live and where I live now.

Cosmetics can be gotten from places like Macy's or a beauty supply. A lot of tech you can get online from places like New Egg. And most other things you can work hard to find someplace local. It fucking sucks, but Sbucks and Jeff Bezos can eat my robotic ass.

Dropped my favorites in your Brave New Faves, though I only dropped the things I think folks haven't listened to? Had some friends form a new group and drop an album at the end of the year, so it's always fun to point folks towards good music that's made by wonderfully odd people.

A film about being too big and magnificent to fail (and then failing), absolutely missing the point and being so big and magnificent that it failed.

Absolutely. I think that's why my sister said what she said. It's like each part was crafted in a vacuum, and much of it is amazing. I've never seen something where so many people did some of their best work, pushed the envelope in so many fields, and it just be so... uninteresting to consume.

Spicy! I wanted to like Megalopolis so much, and I absolutely love individual components. Visually, musically, and even some of the character conflict. My sister (a better writer than I) described it as an art gallery where everything was good but didn't go together. Looking forward to your take!

My mother used it in her developmental psychology course for years to illustrate the differences in adolescence. She always described the scene where two of them are walking down the tracks talking about the future while the other two are singing a "perfectly written scene".

Baxter is also too large to ride on your shoulders, but that's never stopped him.

Always report ICE to the Siembra verification hotline www.siembranc.org

They will verify the location and send out the information faster than any citizen. This also reduces the number of false reports which can cause people to avoid work, school, businesses when LEOs get mistaken

Honestly, when I was first watching this, I expected Beej to jump out dressed as a banana or maybe as a bun so that the joke could come full circle.

I see Mic 5 making a well deserved cameo.

We just need good old school conservative pagan values in private institutions. You know, like the old temple schools of Sumeria, teaching them the Me. Pull out the Eduba and teach them classic cuneiform. If these conservatives really want "traditional values", lets get real fucking traditional.

With all my spare parts and equally disabled friends, I think this applies to me quite well.

It's a shitshow for sure. One of the reasons that Spotify is able to be so toxic is because it's got a monopoly on the free-service market. When they have no competition, they can be as horrible as they want. I do know many indy artists are pulling off their platform because of it.

Maybe get into some bizarre license-free music? I always go down the strangest rabbit holes when looking for royalty free music for shows.
